Ruben Wilson seems to be a decent and Tector looks to be a beast in the making and Doherty really got some bounce and turn. With both Tectors, Stirling around for another 5-6 years, Campher, Young, Wilson, Doherty the Irish should be able to maintain their current standard for the next 10+ years.

We did bowl badly. Dube unfortunately lost his radar and yet was persevered with. Seamers bowled stump to stump, surely keep it 4th stump and have slips and bowl a couple straight? One bouncer and one yorker and both nearly took wickets.
The bowling changes were extraordinary. Match losing. Needed to switch to left arm or leggies almost straight away. Mitchell was almost on a hiding to nothing by the time he came on.
Schonken looks really good, where has he been?
The pitch stopped turning. From ragging to not turning? Truly bizarre to witness.

Bawa's confidence must be shattered. Yet another no score and ran out one of two guys that could have helped us get a decent total. That's cricket though, can happen to anybody, not blaming the guy at all and he needs to pick himself up and dust himself off.
If he had much to do with bowling changes, then he had a shocker, but I didn't see Bennet intervening so they were following instructions.

We've found two batters of the highest caliber capable of making runs and holding their nerve against the best u19 bowling on the planet. Do they realize that? They've been around a while yet got overlooked the previous WC and I have no doubt will be cut loose again.
