Northerns with a lead. A victory of some sort. Seems like they couldn't handle spin in the end

Far more likely they'll be straight on the razz instead. That's what these tours are for isn't it?

Theyre more strictly controlled these days unfortunately.

I can't stop thinking about this, remembering it is a pre-season friendly and it's an incredibly one-sided game just 1-wicket away from a result

Pure Art:

Chivanga, unprovoked, randomly throwing out volleys of verbal insults to Carse for a couple of overs, eventually forcing Carse to square up to him...

Next ball Chivanga pulls out just as Carse is delivering   Carse smashes the ball really hard right at the stumps....

Next two deliveries Chivanga slogs him for two successive boundaries

Noticeable that Tanaka went and gave him a big hug at the end though - good stuff.

This guy should be in our Test XI every time and it's not even a debate

Surprised he was so quiet and well behaved in the Windies game.

Northerns have undone all their good work with a collapse. Bloody disappointing.

Either pitch is breaking up or poor batting

Lots of bowled and LBW

Curran has signed as a professional for a Minor Counties (below first class level) side in England for the summer.

So we won’t be seeing him any time soon. Although I hear he remains committed to trying to play for Zimbabwe, will definitely be back again next season.

Northerns are fighting back

Couple more quick wickets and we have a hell of a finish
