The washout game against England has helped them assuming they would have lost it... But whon knows they might as well have won it too.
That saved England and robbed Scotland   no way England were chasing 106 off 10 or whatever it was.

I'd like to believe the above too. But the average score in a T10 these days is about 140 and it looked like one of the better pitches in this tournament.

Bertus has confirmed that Scotland will fall behind Zimbabwe if they lose to Australia.

So for Zimbabwe to qualify directly, the only hope is all three of USA, Scotland and Netherlands fail to qualify for Super 8s. I would say that's 50-50.

Can the USA overtake us?

Lol, No. Not on Rankings but through Super 8 route, they can qualify.

Maharaj bowling pies and getting wickets, Mahmadulla should do better there
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.

The pitches in this World Cup have been miserable. This is way too extreme.

Agreed, needing 20 off 18 with 6 wickets in hand, Bangladesh should not have f***ed that up!

I'm quite enjoying it tbh. Makes a change from the ridiculous IPL season we just had where par score was like 230 or something stupid. It's making the games really interesting at least. I wouldn't want T20 to be like this all the time...but it is a refreshing change.

Plus it's just the New York pitch which has been like this? The Caribbean pitches are and will be fine and thats where the latter stages are taking place.
