That was a fine international innings from Ervine. Not lucky, just quality. Really glad to see him in a slot that he can make his own.

Nice to see the humility Bayhaus - I share it with regard to Chamu - he continues to impress this year and I had written him off long ago.

Oh for a settled top 3!

Yeah, never believed Chamu could show the kind of consistency he is showing now and never thought Ervine could win a match for us like that. Hats off to both of them. Was pleasantly surprised to see the scorecard midway through the Zim innings and that we were in with a shout. We did not mess it up like we did against India though, so we are learning our lessons, is it?

Hope so. With no teeth in the attack though it is easy to imagine NZ stepping on the gas earlier and setting 345

We now have two shots at winning a series against a top natio , something we haven't achieved since prior to the player rebellion in 04 ......

Looks like Choppa is out of the T20 and rightly so, he hasn't really done much since his return and it's not really fair on others if he just turns up when he likes.

We don't really need Coventry. He needs to play domestically and establish some form.

Yes, im sure that was only haldf the story.

The full one being that he needs to commit properly.

Whens the domestic season coming?
That would be the reason no new blood is shining through. No ones played in a year!

I think this upcoming season will be the year of the lamb though.
