Phew. A win is a win. So we are into the semi-finals, which are basically the Finals.

If the Netherlands slip up this afternoon it might actually be good if we lose to the US and avoid them

Jongwe with the bat and Burl with the ball the game-changers today. And thank the lord for Sean Williams.

Who’s MOTM?
Burl or willo?

Just looking at the scorecard, can’t discount Willis bowling contribution as well so surely he’s the pick.

The both matches we played we can't get them all out. And also both team played their full quota over, not good sign to see for upcoming important matches.

I'm confused? Isn't there one more pool game?
Don't we need to win to avoid Netherlands in the semi?
If we need to throw a game to avoid Nether Regions then that's what we need to do, and to get ZC to officially bet our 9 million annual grant on it
If they're going to stick with Madhevere he'd be better off opening, but I'd drop him, put Burl up the order and Marumani in Burl's spot. You could take a chance and put Marumani at 3?
Madhevere's last dozen T20 innings must make grim reading.

Burl's 3 for 13 in 4 overs is impossible to best for MoM.
That's serious!!

Right guys, I wasn't posting because I was busy with my work with the match getting streamed on my mobile.

I was confident that Zim will pull it through all the while, but yeah not a good performance, and the way USA are playing, I don't know, we could be in for trouble.

I'm pretty sure the Dutch will finish first so Zimbabwe have got an important game against the USA but thankfully not a KO, and in the worst case of losing, they do get another shot at redemption by playing the Dutch in semis.

Actually Williams 4 overs only went for 14, but no wickets, so ya maybe Williams after his brilliant batting.
Tough one.

Well I have quite a bit of affection for Jersey but relieved we got past them.

Bowlers, Williams and Jongwe get a pat on the back.

Let's hope we hold our lines against the US

I'd rather we lost to Uganda than USA
They don't even play cricket
I'm surprised Zim let them come here after all the noise about illegal sanctions. Why risk them breaking our economy and our WC dreams
