It appears that ZC's wish list is a good overseas player not quite cutting it to come here for peanuts, bang some runs domestically, get a call-up and take to international cricket like the proverbial duck and they want that to cost them $300 pm initially and then grudgingly $1500-$3000 a month. This is whilst they themselves collect from $5000-$20 000 a month as mediocre cricketers and failed administrators.
It's a picture that doesn't make sense.
When did you become a communist? You just described unfettered capitalism...guys with a title at the top getting their bloated salary + bonus regardless of how the company is doing or how the wider economy performs, whilst the people who actually do the work get "arse fucked" for a pittance.

Nothing more than that really. Also just a general feeling from those that know him that he has an ambition to represent Zim one day. May be quite a few years yet though.
Fair enough, I guess the more he plays locally the more likely it will be on his mind to commit. Building friendships with teammates would be a big factor imo.

Ben Curran not having a good time of it, another low score. This is a harsh game.

Where are the two overseas per team that we were expecting? Maybe they're mostly here for red ball?

Ainsley Ndlovu has really improved his batting this season. Playing in the UK this summer has really helped his game.

Ya everyone needs a stint in England. Tough batting conditions, especially against the new ball. If you're going to make runs you need to learn the value of leaving and not driving unnecessarily.

Former Zim U-19 Prince Kaunda has reappeared after years for Tuskers and taken some early wickets.

Tuskers rewarding local club stalwarts - Bechani, Musekwa, Kaunda - with position in the team.

Maunze and Chamu making it look easy down in Mas Vegas today.

Shingi and Maruma getting Mountaineers over the line too.

A day for the veterans.

Mountaineers look like by far the weakest team in the competition, yet sit at 2nd place now! Surely, a 25% of his former self Shingi can't be scoring runs and taking wickets this regularly?

Who's coaching the Mountaineers now, by the way, now that Houghton is with the national team? I'm assuming Shephard is still at Rocks?

Ncube is now the head coach at Mountaineers. And yeah Shepherd is at Rocks, but he's with the national squad atm in Australia so not sure who's filling in. I think Chioza maybe?

Eagles is Hondo and Chauluka. Tuskers is Chawaguta, Mabuza and Nyumbu? Rhinos have Chifo and Chiturumani.
