Re: Antum Naqvi
Who do you think he should be replacing in the current set up?
It would be interesting what the Players Union would have to say.....oh I almost forgot.
Re: Antum Naqvi
If he hands out some cheap free kashmir bats and some spiked batting gloves he should win some support.
Re: Antum Naqvi
He should be welcomed with open arms

Hilarious trolling. Top marks 10/10
Re: Antum Naqvi
Look, the fact is that he is good. Zimbabwe can use him to their advantage... It's about being smart and getting those results in. Zimbabwe doing well in international cricket will do good to the board as well as the players in the longer run... Who really cares these days about how a person has qualified to play!? In any case he is doing his time , this is his second season at domestic level. As Taps said, if he wasn't that good then we had a problem, but the fact here is that he is good.
Once again the problem arises because Zimbabwe don't get enough games... Imagine Zimbabwe playing as much as say England do... No one would care if Antum gets a series ahead of say, Marumani or Kaia or Burl... Next series they are back and we have a greater pool to choose from and have a stronger bench.
Also, if you all agree that ZC Board is corrupt, Do you really think all selections are on merit? Isn't that cheating the nation? But people are living with it right? So what's so wrong in getting someone in who is actually good? He is anyhow coming through the Zimbabwe Board because they have agreed to have him and they (ZC) represent the nation.
It's my personal opinion though and as I said, I would respect people's opinion over mine because I am an outsider and have limited knowledge about Zimbabwe as a country.

They look vaguely similar, that’s enough for some.
Re: Antum Naqvi
Naqvi is playing the system like a pro.
Zim system and Naqvi the Shadystani both have shady written all over them by their very nature. Match made in heaven especially with him producing the goods.
