You obviously misread me. First of all, I do not consider that NZ he 99* against to be an international atttack worth rating! Chatara, Tiripano, Chinouya or Garwe & Mushangwe, would've done far much better against our team! The hlaf century against a poor Bangladesh attack was workmanlike!

For more than a number of innings in the domestic games, he's shown a dip in form, and his batting in the international games hasn't been convincing for me! Nothing about his season says consistent - AT ALL!

The man bats at six, that's my point! Put him up the order to open or bat at three like the rest then he's collect a lot of single figure scores like the rest! No one said anything about Matsi doing more than him. Overall, he has been as equally poor as Mutizwa over the same period! I'm right on the money in saying that he hasn't been at the top of his game! Drop the misinterpratations and focus on facts. He's being shielded, and doing little despite being shielded! Half-centuries in dead rubbers don't count for anything. That's when sides give their fringe players a run!

Care to isolate and argue ANY those points realistically instead of pronouncing empty veiled insults!

You guys seem to like throwing your weight behiind reasoning based on sentiment, not fact! I state for example, with good reason that Cremer, Jarvis & Vitori, are poor and have been bowling rubbish for a reasonable period and you translate that to hate, and simply avoid the facts! Pathetic!

That 1992 tour sounds bizarre. An ODI interrupting a test match!

That's what senior players need to do, occupy the first 3 positions in ODIs (even Sachin, Ganguly, Amla) etc do that! That's what Hami, Taylor & Taibu need to do, instead of sacrificing Regis, Matsi & Forster!

It looks very embarassing when, just like the Test match they hide, and still fail!

We stood a good chance of beating this NZ side if we went about things the right way, now we're just chasing respectability!

That was Zimbabwe's greatest chase ever in ODI. It revealed his character. The problem is you manage to find something strange in Zimbabwe's greatest hours, be it return test win, greatest ODI chase, fighting spirit with Pak/NZ. This irks one and all and you then follow it up with statements like, "he will never earn MY respect, Taylor (the man who had guts to declare) is coward,we should protect Matsi, make Ewing the President of Zim etc etc.

No body is insulting you. It's just that you tend to chose wrong time and wrong players with wrong judgement with lengthy and crafty essays. Peace and enjoy todays win
