Our fellas have doubled our toll fees and stuck in a whole lot more. Now 4 toll gates to Mutare, which is only 250km away. A round trip for our cricketers is now 32 dollars per vehicle. Its almost the same cost as the fuel

That will be disappointing loss for Bangladesh. They are the Asian champions but have come up short here against India.

Huge win for Pakistan, that is impressive over the Afghan side.

England have it pretty easy against Scotland.

Yeah that massive defeat will hurt BD in the Super 12 phase in terms of NRR. Will have to make it up vs the Associate sides and with our bowling attack we should bundle them all out under 100.

Not sure if it was Bangladesh's strongest XI but feeling within the Zim camp last week was that they seemed a poor side and the boys were very disappointed in themselves for not getting over the line against them.

Since SA announced their support of Hamas and took Israel to the ICC R1.4 trillion rand has been withdrawn from SA.
That's enough to put a massive dent in their already bankrupt economy.
195 countries on the planet and SA choose to be the ones to make a statement. I guess since they themselves kill Zimbabweans and continue to practice apartheid they feel they're well placed.

Malema's crew will as a fact hire a crowd to disrupt this WC at some point.
Really? Source?
As a follow-up to that conversation-

The below is a clarifying note about the state of affairs with the ANC.

This is starting to line up.

Bankrupt ANC gets paid by Iran to run propaganda interference against Israel.

If they hadn't and the Courts declared them bankrupt, the Constitution prohibits them from running for election.

So they did a deal in an attempt to remain in power and in so doing threatened or risked disinvestment in our country by the US, UK and Europe.

“Since the SA government has announced that they stand by Hamas, R1.4 trillion in investments have been withdrawn from SA.” - Economist Magnus Heystek

About 6 months ago an application was brought by a service provider who was owed about R120 million by the ANC, for the liquidation of the ANC. The application was due to be heard in November 2023. As we know, earlier in 2023 the ANC had been unable to pay salaries of staff for several months.

The ANC was close to bankruptcy. (SAA, SABC, Eskom, Transnet, etc).

In October 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs visits Iran. Soon after this visit:

1) the government expresses solidarity with the Palestinians in a public display broadcast on TV

2) hosts a Hamas delegation in SA.

3) launches an urgent application to the ICJ, accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza. Just the preliminary application costs come to R200 million for preparation and argument (the final trial will cost about R1,5 billion.)

About 3 weeks ago the liquidation application against the ANC is confidentially settled (R100m) and the ANC publishes a statement that its financial woes are over and it’s ready to fund and fight the 2024 elections.

I’m still convinced that the ANC are ideologically aligned with Iran (it’s not *only* money), but what we’re seeing here is a political party putting their own survival ahead of the economy of the country.

ANC and other African "liberation" parties will very much align with the Russia/Iran/China axis. No wonder the Cape independence movement is gaining traction, people there can see the path South Africa is going down.

Well all America has ever done is attempt to destabilise and overthrow African governments and all Russia and China have done is assist from day 1 and now they're firmly embedded in Africa and calling in their markers.
You walk into OR Tambo airport and many others and there's Chinese signs everywhere. China is now raping Africa, ably assisted by the politicians in their pockets, which is most of them.
America arrogantly never attempt to understand anything.
