That wicket hurts. It is up to Waller and Elton' The Walking Wicket' Chigumbura.

Chigs gonhe and we are done for
Re: [Match Thread] New Zealand v Zimbabwe: 1st ODI
We keep talking as if these two can bat. At least one of them needs a decent contribution here. Not that we are in it any longer, baring miracles.

He heard youJemisi wrote:Well Shingi goes, time for a big innings in your 100th game Ray!
But his career best is 46Mills to Price, FOUR, Price looking like he is keen to make a case for a promotion, short outside off and he slashes hard at it, the cut is good enough to reach the fence
32.3
Mills to Price, no run, comes forward and defends nicely into the covers
32.2
Mills to Price, FOUR

The top order of Hami and Matsi is the problem. They get bogged down and put undue pressure on the rest. We dont need openers from Curran-Duffin era and we are seriously missing Coventry hereZimbabwe's Minister of Sport David Coltart on Twitter: "As in the Test not a bad bowling performance but we are being let down by our batting top order. Do we need to swallow some humble pie?"

Has Ray Price been watching old videos of Andy Flower reverse sweeping?

Nice cameo from Ray. I'm most dissapointed by Taibu in the chase, actually. He had a good start, they'd made the recovery and then he limply gifted his wicket to a part time debutant.

Vusi is the one that we are missing at the top ...... he was the on that set the likes of Taylor and Waller up so that they could make good chases .Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:The top order of Hami and Matsi is the problem.
