Coventry and Chigumbura have got on the end of some huge hits, but I can't remember any as big as Mire's then. That was absolutely massive - QSC is not a small ground and that looked to land on the fences to the premises. Just crazy to do in the last over of a days play, when I saw how high it went I was convinced it just went up... and then it kept going, and going...

Tomorrow's going to be very interesting. This is a low first innings total, and Zimbabwe bats deep. If we don't throw wickets away (or at least in Mire's case, if he whacks a few more sixes before he does ) we have a really good chance of setting up a substantial lead.

The Zim change room will be very happy tonight - this is an unfamiliar position.

Mire will never change.. I think he will score plenty of runs initially as teams are very attacking at the beginning of tests but I think he will always be out in the 30s or 40s.

Is this the pace Jarvis bowls at now? Still a very good player but I'm sure we were all thinking he would be in the late 130s.. He might have actually been our slowest seamer today. Very surprising

What a day of test cricket by the boys they followed all their game plans and stuck to their guns
