You can have average batsmen but you will need at least one world class bowler. Look at SA right now. Their bowlers have made their batsmen look okayish

Brad Evans looked military medium the other day when I watched him. When I faced him a few years ago he was sharp
He's just had major ankle surgery. His batting is really coming on and I'm sure he will be bowling at decent pace soon. He's a better prospect than Luke in my opinion. That ankle injury came at a bad time. I rate this guy. Watch and see.

At least the upside of having eight bowling options allows us to avoid having to see Burl or Chatara again today hopefully

Need a couple of wickets pretty quick here or it’s looking like defeat

I'd give Burl another over. We're getting smashed anyway.
Madhevere is bowling rubbish as well.

How many short deliveries must Ngarava bowl before either he or someone else tells him to pitch it up??????

Super predictable chevrons. I prefer the low score games. We usually do better in those. We are good at choking teams when they do not need to attack and then we are horrible against sides that have to be aggressive to win. We panic, leak runs, field poorly etc. knowing this team well, they might win the next ODI after scoring 255

That umpire must have some money on this, how did he think that was out?

Victor Nyauchi should have been given a chance in this tour. Pacers who has got swing gets reward in this Sri Lankan pitches in powerplays. In recent tour of Sri Lanka Deepak Chahar was great with the new ball for India. Nyauchi would have been a good choice

You can't put a part time leggie as an wicket taking option. Mavuta could have done good job here. Saw Cremer in that 2017 series, though both can't be compared but still he could have been beneficial.Players have been selected based on regional domestic performances but there should be one or two horses for courses

To be fair this pitch has nothing for the bowlers. The problem is we should have scored more. Even 320 can be chased here
