No Houghton has the same processes. They're both excellent.
The difference coaching wise is Flower is stern disciplinarian and I would think DH leaves guys alone a bit more to make their own choices, which is of course him partly reading the room.
I agree and I like Houghtons approach to an extent, but I think that approach works more with a higher quality side. With Zim, players can tend to get away from things if left to their own devices.

For example with Ervines bowler choices, he should have intervened earlier.
Can't really intervene from the sidelines. Craig got that wrong unfortunately. Also 30 something extras.

I like this from Gumbie. Even if you don't get big scores, contributing 30s 40s up the order a lot better than getting a big score in one and then getting out in single digits in the next.

That was a very lazy wicket.

Stupid way to get out. Not panicking yet though.

Great innings from Ervine. He's in the form of his life. International quality.

Could send in a message with a drinks runner. Not particularly hard to do

Check at the state of Gumbie's bat

That loose tape on the sides is just lazy.

Ya but he's the captain. I don't think sending messages to a seasoned campaigner is the right thing.
He has to call it as he sees fit, its not u19.

That depends on how receptive he is as well. It's not usually a democracy.
