look at the difference in captaincy. Mushy gave Chakabva the easies hundred with last ball singles when batting with the tail. All 4 results were possible at that time too.
Taylor on the other hand, does what a proper captain should do, and tries to pressure the batsman on 98 with a packed ring on the offside and it requires a superb shot to get the ton!
nonetheless well pleased. Mominul average shoots past 60 now.

He looks like a superb player. And he's scored runs against a lot of different Test teams hasn't he?

I'm very impressed by Mominul (just wish he could get out too!), looks like Bangladesh have found a solid #3, good for them.

It's a shame Zimbabwe can't unearth our own Mominul. Someone young with raw talent who is not unnerved or found wanting on the big stage.

All of his centuries have been scored in Bangladesh. Still has a pretty healthy average playing away from Bangladesh though.

Is there a reason why S Masakadza has only bowled 6 overs? Is there an injury concern?

Wondering the same thing.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Is there a reason why S Masakadza has only bowled 6 overs? Is there an injury concern?
We need a BT special to salvage anything from here. Ervine is also due.

Yep. It'll take some magic that's for sure.clikcspeed wrote:Wondering the same thing.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Is there a reason why S Masakadza has only bowled 6 overs? Is there an injury concern?

This match is feeling a lot like vs Bangladesh in Harare, 2011 except roles are reversed. BD's declaration will come tonight, and they will look to clean up Zim just after lunch tomorrow.

I'm surprised to find BD still batting.

This is too easy for BD. Get the part timers off, get Panyangara and S Masakadza on and tell them to bowl full and 6 inches outside of leg stump. Pack the leg side field.
At least try something to frustrate the batsmen. Raza/H Masakadza/Mushangwe aren't doing anything but leaking runs.
