Not really no. BT has a better strike rate and a better average.

Better average fair enough. 118 vs 115 strike rate is barely better though and that’s what counts in t20. That’s miles off guys like raz dawg, Williams and 20 less than Faraz akram

Squad is in
Raza
Bennet
Burl
Evan’s
Gwandu
Maposa
Marumani
Masakadza
Munyonga
Musekiwa
Muzarabani
Myers
Ngarva
Taylor
Williams
No Cremer is very surprising? Remember I said it's a Masakadza vs Cremer pick.
Finally finally Clive sits out. No disrespect to the lad, but he's got miles to go. Its chalk and cheese between him and Maru.
I like the fact that Marumani and Myers are there. Theyve both been ordinary to date, but they have to be part of ZC's plans going forward. Both good players with the right attitude.
Maru will play, I assume he'll open, but that's not where I'd play him.
Williams is a panic selection. Theyve realised they need him.
I'd love him to captain.
Taylor is going to be a huge worry if he doesn't come off in one of three. Ive seen enuf to worry.
Myers will be better up the order, I get the strong feeling he struggles to change gear at this level, hopefully that will come, I rate him.
With Ngarava, Muza and Maphosa there it looks to me like Evans may have to sit out. He may get one game. Lets see if Blessing can fire himself up for 4 overs. He's looking disinterested. Gwandu is lucky to be there. One more time...Evans The Racist is our most accurate seamer.
Masakadza is thereabouts for his bowling. I'm one of his few supporters, he's a good cricketer and a clever bowler. Averages 9 at 90% with the bat. We've got enough cricketers that his competition should be Burl. He loses that match-up.
If Naqvi ever qualifies, in an ordinary world that would be the end for Wellie.
Munyonga and Musekiwa are marginal. Too many dots.

If we want to give ourselves the best chance of qualifying and any chance of winning a single game in the WC this is our strongest T20 team. Probably all formats actually.

Bennett
Welch
Naqvi
Taylor/Curran
Williams
Raza
Burl
Marumani
Evans
Ngarava
Muzarabani

This is by far and away our strongest team. Mess around with anything else and theyre playing politics and Russian Roulette with 3 in the chamber.

Theyre fighting it every inch of the way but theyre slowly getting there. Tragically no more big teams to get massacred by to help them hurry it along to our best team before the qualifiers.

Faraz suddenly seems a world away from selection.

Bro has a t20i batting average of 24 and strike rate of 136. That’s like raz dawg numbers  literally  boggles the mind how he doesn’t get picked as a batter who might bowl a couple of overs in the middle of the innings.

Don’t understand why he’s neither in the selectors minds nor getting social media coverage

I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor is the concussion sub in the squad.

Myers- I wonder if they are hoping he could be an extra seamer, bowl a couple of overs if needed.

I know Williams isn't captaining the T20 but his presser after the ODI's was very good. Spoke about how if the spinners are bowling better then the pacers then the pace bowlers don't have to bowl out their 10 and vice versa. Refreshing to hear captain read a game rather then stick too much to a plan.
