Both of his wickets so far have been clean bowleds, the kid must have some pace on him.

I can already picture eugene licking his lips...#gethimintheteam :D

Good to see Larry back as well.

I know quite a bit about James Bruce. Was the most devastating school cricketer I've seen and had to pull out of the u19 WC as his father was very strict with his studies. He is at Tuks studying to be a doctor the last I heard and was a big hitting bowling all rounder. Serious ability with his left arm seamers. However I don't see him sticking around too much as he should be in the 4th or 5th year of his doctor studies.

So simultaneously promising, and non-promising.

So, to go with our Burlesque Bradman, we also have Dr. W. G. Bruce. Future's Bright, Future's Red...

Two things of note.

If he is a devastating hitter, displays it and makes runs domestically, he should definitely go to the t20 WC.

Secondly, how bad is the standard of play when a 22 yr old who hasnt played in years, with no first class experience, walks in and dominates?

Talent is at an all time low.

Im seriously wondering whether if its a good idea to chop the mountaineers and have a tri series of Matabele, midlands and Harare.

The standard is fine, James Bruce is just awesome. Get him in the team.

Why would you want to chop the Mountaneers? They have been the strongest franchise for the past three years.
