Does anyone have any further information on the proposed domestic T20 competition. I would reckon it can help fill up those not so sure slots. Certainly with regards to the Seam bowlers.

I'm seconding Eugenes selection of Donald Tiripano.

Throuhout my life i can think of only one seam bowler who hasnt been ass raped out of the attack, and thats the Donald.

Dont get me wrong, he hasnt really impressed me much.

But its the absence of failure which gets him a gig here and he may just be able to hold the fort.

Cephas is nother smoky i would consider, however his performances just arent there.

Not to mention Donny can hold a bat better than your usual Zimbo tailender.

I find it funny that when ever a white player returns there's cries he is only returning for a WC pay day, but then we have people calling for Mire to be given another free ticket to a WC even when it's known he will turn his back on us again when it's over .....

The guy isn't even that good he's a park slogger who did nothing at the WC except go for 8 an over and hit Steyn for one big 6 .......

Really need a domestic t20 comp, then maybe even a possibles v probables and then invite Ireland and Afghanistan for a tri series to really see who should go to the WC ......

The most effective bowlers in t20 cricket are leg spinners, real fast bowlers or guys who can change it up with line, length and slower balls ( e.g. Bravo ). The line and length 'military type' seamers just dont cut it in t20 cricket and pretty much all our seamers are as such ......

Muzhange - bowls a good yorker

Madziva - Good slower balls and yorker but always bowls 1-2 bad balls an over

Shingi - bowls a good yorker and slower ball

Mpofu - Good slower ball

Everyone else seems to be too 'conventional' for t20 cricket, even those guys mentioned will probably get smashed for plenty .....

Lets play 3 front line spinners Chisoro can open the bowling and at the death as well ......

The thing in Shingi's favour is that he takes bags of wickets. He does go for runs, but he has five four wicket hauls amongst only 45 international wickets.

The former seems to be the best way out for shortlisting players IMHO

Perhaps even a best of 5 series for a side league of Harare v Bulawayo.

Potential Windies tour happening. Check the Chigs resigns thread. May be more chances to fine tune. But yes, fast bowling department needs a serious re look. May be Ntini can work with all the top 10-15 guys and recommend the best options once he is with the team. Agree with the opinion on Tiripano. This guy appears to be that no nonsense trier. Deserves more opportunities.

No Muzarabani and Mpofu please.
