Looks like this is happening, Sri Lanka arrive on Thursday for 1 4 dayer and 3 OD matches.
Waller is defiantly going to play, coming back from Ireland for just the OD games.
Emerging Squad to face Sri Lanka Emerging
Re: Emerging Squad to face Sri Lanka Emerging
Development 4-dayer starts this Sunday; 3 one-dayers set for Sept 3, 5, 7. All at Harare SC!
So game on. But the development Squad looks way too thin on experience even for development side. Will be glad to be proven wrong. PJ Moor captains the side. Jongwe, Madziva, Wasakadza all being considered. And chubby Kasuza also makes the numbers.

CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Zim Dev doing ok. Of course none of your Keefes, Ives, Murrays close to featuring.
Rupeni, where did you get your info? Not questioining you, I just wonder why it is so radically different.

Zimbabwe 90-0 both chari and kunje doing well into their 40s. Looking forward to see how chirmuuta/jongwe and mumba fare in this match as feel they are the future

100/0 now. Not a bad XI except the selections of Mayavo and Dylan Hondo in my view. If Moor was the keeping option for the national team in the longer format, shouldn't he be doing that here too instead of Mayavo to get more experience under the belt? He was the designated skipper after all, but Chari is shown as the captain for the match for now.
Is Dylan Hondo related to Dougie the coach by any chance? How did he make this squad?

Moor flight was delayed hence why Chari is the captain.
Re: Emerging Squad to face Sri Lanka Emerging
add PJ Burl and madziva and this actually a very decent team.. don't know much about chirimuuta and although he didn't get a score today he averages over 40 from 10 first class games so he must be decent. what I would love to see is the u19s playing a few games against these guys to prove how good the likes of Murray Ives and matigimu are because a lot of these emerging players have potential and have actually played some international games. hopefully Nyauchi and Mumba impress with the ball.

156-3 Kunje and Chari fail to build on their 50s . Chirimuuta out on 8 . But great start. Dylan Hondo is the younger brother of Dougie Hondo. . Murray is in the Africa T20 squad so we expect to see more of him . Ives who is a Stellenbosh and Bruce are unavailble due to academic commitments.
