Hitchens had more knowledge and oratory and debating skills in his baby finger than Harris. Incomparable.
Even if Hitchens had two bottles of vodka in his belly (a regular occurrence) Harris would still let Hitchens take centre stage. They were on the same side anyway.
Harris made Ben Shapiro look like a child in a discussion they had a couple years ago. Of course I don't rate Ben Shapiro at all. He can just speak at more words per minute than the average bloke. I can type faster than Shakespeare but doesn't necessarily mean I'm a literary genius.

"What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence" is not at all ingenius.

But most of these atheists are generally equal opportunity - ie they recognize that all religions are equivalent in terms of their general behavior and impact on people whether negative or positive.

He does talk quick and sounds annoying but he still sounds like he’s insanely intelligent to me.

I notice that when people attack right wing commentators they always find one thing here or there to discredit them entirely. They are human, and are
On the ball 95% of the time so I think they shouldn’t be held in ridiculously high standards all the time.

Someone like Cenk from the young Turks on the left says inaccurate things all the time and doesn’t get rided the same way.

I do lol that one of the hosts of the young Turks, the gay guy, broke away and is now a moderate right wing commentator who criticised the left a lot.

Cenk Uygur is always the dumbest guy on the show, regardless of who the other guests are.

So, to clarify, Jesus isn't sending Goodwin to Zimbabwe?

I don't get how he cracks a contract in a highly competitive environment and then takes 2 years off. His belief in his faith and in his cricketing ability must be strong. There must be some kind of deal in place with WA because I don't think he was even at the end of the contract when he decided he needed to do this. Will he be practicing cricket whilst he's on walkabout up north or if/when he eventually gets to Zim.
Cricket is not the be all and end all by any means, but if you spend a good portion of your life practicing to be a good cricketer and then take a hiatus you lose any momentum.
You'd have to think its going to be very difficult to get back into it.
He didn't make the U19 side but was then picked in a Cricket Australia XI to play Pakistan. That's a serious achievement.
Selections or lack thereof are bizarre in all countries it appears. I also read that the Australia u19 captain lost his contract. You would think he would have been safe for a couple of years.
Most religions feel it necessary that you have to convert others especially the different branches of Christianity which appear to have only very subtle differences. A quick search shows 300 main different ecclesiastical blocks and 40 000 different denominations. Smith, the founder of the Mormon faith didn't have a particularly good personal track record.

I see they use the word proselytize, which is to covert.

I didn't realise that The Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints is the Mormon Faith. Wiki says there's 32 937 members in Zim.Thats a very specific number.

Roman Catholics make up only 7% of the population surprisingly, because Mugabe was RC and was in power for a long time.
The black community love their Pentecostal Prophets.
Prophesizing and exorcism of evil spirits is a road show.
Phrophets Makandiwa and Magaya have a huge following here and they're extraordinarily wealthy. I forget which one, but he has a 7 storey space age looking mansion that we regularly drive past.
I can't remember which guy came here, it may have been a Nigerian prophet, but more than half a million people attended. Followers from SA were bussed in by their thousands.

You’ll find a lot of Aussie and kiwi athletes in Australia have done the same two year Mormon sabbatical, and they always do it coming into their prime.
It’s crazy but I admire it.
The Mormon faith surprises me. It seems so ‘out there’ but I know a guy who converted and got his whole family on board, and the Mormon communities are always so clean and successful.
