Kudos to whoever is doing all this Eagles social media stuff. Imagine if all the teams made such an effort.

And this is the day Cephas decides to get a century  . The mountaineers might be in serious trouble if they don't get these 2 out soon.
So if Cephas can hit the ball like that why is he not in the national team...
We need so ruthless hitting...especially in the WC qualification stage..
We lost the match against UAE because of Ervine's controlled slow paced batting

1. Wellington
2. Gumbie
3. Chitumba

.....This Mountaineers line-up might just be the worst top three in history? Can anyone recall a worse Logan Cup top order than that?

It baffles me how they are 2nd in the league with a chance of finishing top.

I know they probably have the strongest bowling lineup with 4 NATs but still, that batting lineup should never make more than around 200 on paper. Total batting average of 227 for the 11.

I’ll compare that with other teams see if there is much difference in batting strength.

It just smacks of there being a massive shortage of batters.

Surely this is where Evans should be getting some opportunities?

Why is Shingi Mazakadza still playing...?
I saw him bowl and he was almost bowling from a 5 yard run up. Absolutely wasting somebody's place in the side

Just done a quick research on averages, probably not the strongest 11 that each team could make up, but based it on recent squads.

I was actually surprised by the results and have realised how weak each teams batting lineup is in terms of stats:

227 - Mountaineers
245 - Rocks
218 - Eagles
243 - Rhinos
262 - Tuskers

Tuskers have by far the strongest batting lineup, both Ervine and Madande in the low 40s. Eagles are pretty poor, didn’t realise Fraine only had a 20 average in first class cricket.

Compton has carried the Goats batting! Their bowling is great (Nyauchi, DT, Chats, Wellington) so that’s how they’ve ended up so high in the table. They definitely need to sign another batter from somewhere next season though.
