I can recall, Mluleki Nkala was given immediate chance after the rebel strike in 2004. But he couldn't perform much. Ya, his stats are nothing really special. 22 wickets in 50 ODIs at 71 and 11 wickets in 10 tests at 60 odd don't give a good look. There is also lackness in domestic performance also.

At the age of 28, we were wondering if he was a player to return through franchise cricket and resume his playing career domestically. But that doesn't seem to happen.

Well, found a positive thing about him in wikipedia:
He has spent some time during his career at the Australian Cricket Academy, working with Dennis Lillee.
About his current situation wikipedia reports that ;

He is currently coaching at sports academy 'The Harefield Academy' in Middlesex.
Don't know when it was last updated although :?

But that's sure that he is concentrating in his coaching job. Can't remember entirely but think that he was the head of Zimbabwean cricket academy at any point of time.
