First time I hear Darlington on commentary.

Is Ed Rainsford still around?
I think he is in SA now working in SA home matches for the SABC.

Just a nice little interesting stat

Pakistan Batting Coach: 115 tests at an avg of 52
Zim Batting Coach: 8 tests at an avg of 23

Pakistan Bowling Coach: 87 tests at an avg of 23. 373 wickets
Zim bowling coach: 9 tests at an avg of 36. 21 wickets
Madness, We could look into some of these ex pakistanis to be our coaches, no one is developing under these current coaches unless they go overseas for a bit

I am suprised Shumba has not bowled any overs yet,Chisoro looks placid and Robitic.

I would give Kia and Shumba a go in the bowling

This says it all!
And it’s frankly, Low hanging fruit in terms of rectifying it.
I often see people here critizing rajput for those who don't know rajput is a Mumbai stalwart. Has played 110 first class matches for Mumbai at an average near 50 ..it is often said getting into the Mumbai team is tougher than getting into Indian team. He coached Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season . Lot of young kids in Mumbai and from u19 have trained under rajput ..he was the manager of the winning Indian team in 2007 wc T20 (they didn't have any coach then) so he was unofficially coaching them ..problem is Zimbabwe have very few resources ..and he is working best ..under him zim won an odi and t20 against pak ..a full strength zim team will definitely give tough fight to the likes of ban wi Sri
Rajput is supposedly a nice guy and I hear he is popular with the players. The problem is, he spends way too much time outside of Zim.

I hear he has actually been in Zimbabwe/with the squad since January at the moment which is good and is an improvement.

But for the first two years of him being involved, he flew in 2 days before a series and then flew out the day after it finished. I doubt he attended a single domestic game in all of that time. That’s the problem for me. Maybe that has changed this season due to Covid forcing him to stay in one place.
Either way we need a full time coach who is working with Zim players year-round

Crazy that Roy Kaia still hasn’t bowled.

Is BT expecting to get through the match using only 4 bowlers?!

Edge of Tiripano falls just in front of Chakabva. He should keep much closer to the stumps for Tiripano
Also does not help that he is flat footed in his stance. Means he doesn't put himself in a position to dive forward or sidewards quickly.

A lot of comments on Cricinfo by Pakistani fans - only about their batsmen not scoring quickly. They are pretty much abusing the players. Hilarious! They are so completely under control and are driving the game. What is wrong with the present generation of cricket fans? Too much T20 influence may be...

Even though we have not taken wickets we have not even allowed pakistan to fly this morning ..they have made around 35 runs since morning in 25 overs at a run rate of 1.4
