Evans did a stint in County Two's as first change, often with the keeper standing up as a fuck you coz he was a Zimbabwean so he's hopefully got some unresolved anger issues. Also batted as tail ender his whole life when he clearly isn't so got a point to prove there as well. He's got some catch up and has the ability so I'm sure we are going to see some good things.

Munyonga, Wes, Shumba, Marumani, Madande, Kaitano, Kaia, Evans and Chivanga. These 9 guys need a lot of ' A' cricket over the next 18 months against decent opposition. I hope Hami has read this situation. Its good they getting some games against decent sides but this needs to be continued as the domestic level just isn't good enough.

The likes of Wes need to learn how to score hundreds against decent bowling before we see them do it for the senior side. As for Chivanga, he needs to do more with that pace and he doesn't have time on his side unlike Munyonga and co.
A cricket ?
We play that as a once off now and then to pretend there's a plan.
We just need to get a couple of county sides here jan-march and that box is ticked

The only negative of Evans success yesterday is now that he is known to Indian fans and did well against them, we are going to hear 'Why not pick the Brad Evan?" from indian fans all over Facebook or here for the next twenty years, if he fizzles out, retires, goes abroad or what not.

We are still getting 'Zimb shold pick Elten Chigmumbra' now and the 'Mrillier is best player he should be picked' only dried up about 2 years back.

There's still a reprobate who comments on a lot of ZC tweets with 'Andrew Odendulle ssshould in Zim XI'

We are one man army. Without Raza our batting department is I guess not capable.

All other batters are not having that gutts or capability to score centuries. NOT even Williams and Ervine also.

Hitting 1 century (Kaia, Chakabwa) is not sufficient at international level. Consistent scoring runs from batters are required if you want to win against top teams.

Our openers are useless a nd their body language (kaitano) itself telling that they are not suitable for international matches.

Yes, Bowling is very well improved. Ngarava, nuachi and Evans are taking responsibilities and playing their role good.

Why we are not using Tiripano as opening batsman, he is good batting skills then kaitano, kaiya, KK

Lot of IPL teams tweeted on Raza yesterday. There is a chance of him getting an IPL contract, especially with teams like Punjab Kings or Sunrisers Hyderabad who are desperately looking to get some decent replacements.

Not sure how you get an IPL gig after a good 50 over innings? If they were looking at some of his T20 innings then fair enough.
I'd love to see a Zimbo in IPL and not on the bench.
His bowling will get smacked around I reckon
