When you've a kid as smart as what Musakanda just exhibited, you know you have something truly special.
I doubt the think-tank agrees with you. You don't stick "special" in at 3 ahead of raza, Williams and Ervine, unless you're effectively asking them to open and sabotaging them.

Mushfiqur Rahim.

The best hands outside of Tatenda Taibu.
You're out of order.

That guy can't keep. pretty sure Kriterion would agree with me on this. Even his fielding is average. Mushfiqur must just bat...and keep quiet too.

Good effort Zim. We have a chance of a lead in the morning.

Saw the wickets package, stunning catches by Regis and Masakadza (two each too) and to cap that off with that relay run out by Musakanda - Waller. Very good day in the field.

With the exception of Mpofu, who missed a chance and let a couple of boundaries through we were good.

Great day. Wow when things are going your way you really can look like world beaters. PJ would have not caught those. You need a specialist keeper in tests. Got a feeling PJ is going to open. Right now we have a slight advantage.. we have won more sessions tomorrow mornings session is the biggest. Who's ever wins that wins the match in my opinion. If we get a lead of 20/30 then aim to get another 250 we will win.. if they get a a lead of 40/50 then they will be on top. It's only been 2 days so there is no chance of a draw in this game. The pitch is going to be a nightmare to bat on by Monday. We really need to make that long batting lineup count tomorrow

Pigs will fly over the earth's moon. Would love to see it happen - history being made! :) Who wants to bet they'll force Musakanda to open before they make Moor do it?

Batting against the new ball has been the best time to bat, just look at Tharanga's innings .....

Credit to Cremer here today he's not a world class spinner and yes he bowls a lot of bad balls but he never backs away from the hard yards. 30 overs in one day is a big effort as he carried the load with the side 1 bowler short. Going back to the NZ test series where all the bowlers were set up to fail ( Donald & Mike the Rhino included) he kept bowling on a dead track against a great batting lineup, even though it ruined his figures he kept bowling himself.

Well done Skipper .....

Moor has been made to open before in ODI's when he clearly doesn't enjoy it .....
