Banton is a gun batsman. He hasn't hit his straps either. The pitch is holding him and other clean strikers back.

I'm finding this format quite interesting.
The first two overs are vital. Unless the batting side get about 20 the team is in real shit.

Also 2 quiet overs in the middle of about 6 or 7 ea swings the game monumentally.

These pitches are taking turn and staying low. Really accurate spin is doing damage.

I'm not sure I've seen a team open with spin yet?
Spin from both ends for the first two overs (or more) might be a winning thing.

Abslolutely can put a stop to writing the abbreviation for laughing out loud if it matters that much.

We’ll set the Tom Curran wheels in motion now. He qualifies, he came out to play for a week. Houghton should be in his ear and ZC poaching him.

The pitch is a complete road, unfortunately it’s a Zim road so the only conversations about maintaining it come up around election time.

The cricket itself is fun. It’s casual cricket, I know full well I’m tuning into watch some guys smack it about a bit and not expecting the twists and turns of say a t20 even. The floodlights are typical Zim; good but not quite the standard they should be.

Someone said earlier; the English boys are mainly at the top of their game and here for a week before The Hundred, they aren’t as washed up as some of the other big names.

Fixers league? The guy who bowled about 50 wides in a final over on the first day is very questionable to say the least, other than that not seen anything of concern yet.

The commentators reckoned it was a Kookabura ball at some stage but I doubt that. would get expensive losing them all out the ground.

Hasn't Wellington, Mujeeb and Hatzoglou opened the bowling?

Ya, first time you get some power behind your shot and the stitching starts coming undone.

The t10 format is not shit for spectators!!
3 games to watch, one after the other, is bloody outstanding. The less you know about cricket the better this format is for spectators, so it's ideal for Zim.

This is the key point. For the casual fan it's a great day out. You will find most fans here are probably casual fans.

It's a step up for our players too. Imagine the confidence Marumani must have now. He must be thinking he surely can do it at international level if he can do it here. Remember he was actually the top scorer for the T10 we had last year but that step up from domestic to international has been tough on him. This is a good test and a confidence booster

Marumani got a tough chance in front of Centurion and spilled it, then literally next delivery got the same chance and dropped it again and dislocated a finger or two diving forward and sideways and getting his hand caught in the turf. Looked bloody painful.

They may have, haven't paid close attention. I just recall quicks running in. The pitch is far from a road as someone suggested. Some deliveries are staying very low, I've seen a few deliveries not even get off the ground, it's very strange. The low ones have been off the stumps as well. When someone eventually gets one on stumps staying 1 inch off the deck it's going to cause panic.
They got that other scoreboard going which makes a big difference and they have tinkered with the lights, it was much better last night.
Welly is very effective on this pitch. It's turning a bit and he's got such good control.
