Murray was a great keeper, but at 6ft 3 or something I'm doubting his back would have lasted. He expected red carpet, a bit soft. And the best sledger! He was lethal.

I think he's a qualified accountant. Not much of a contest-

But he was a phenomenal keeper. Best I've seen. Never missed a catch or a stumping. He probably did, but I never saw it.

The reality is that for the balance of the team they should make him. It would strengthen our team big time.
I'm fairly sure he'll fight that

He looks like someone pissed in his breakfast.

Blessing all over the new batsman

Mayavo has shown he's not an international keeper. It's tough to come back from those drops. It's the way he dropped them with hard hands in awkward positions. Look you can fix him, but he should have been fixed before he got here.
They've got to stop hoping someone will become good one day. Let him do that in his own time in fc. If he's not working with a wicket keeping coach then he's not going to improve.

If there was ever doubt it's been put to rest, Tsiga is a better keeper and a better red ball player. The only one that might replace him is BT. Joylord is going to have to have a good next season. Another year! Clive is an option and he'll get his chance, they love him.

Now we need a white ball keeper. That's also potentially BT.
Other option is Maru. He'll get opportunities, but time is theoretically running out for him.
Madande will get opportunities.
We're going to see plenty of musical chairs.

There's Spencer Magodo at Mountaineers who's replaced Welch. There's no comparison there. MW has taken more than half the opportunities given to him so far. Magodo will not play international cricket. Then there's this u19 guy who's apparently spent 2 years in India. He's going to be another who gets red carpet treatment, watch this space. I havent seen him so can't comment.

Keeper not having a great one. Zimbabwe has lost some good keepers through the problems of the last ten years/selection issues.

Eg chakabva retired early. Lost PJ moor. Lost Ryan Murray, Dane schandendorf playing county. Any others?
Moor was dogshit as akeep, coulnt keep to spin, remember he missed like 5 nicks off cremer one inings and after a while cremer wasnt surprised as he didnt expect his to be caught.
