Irrespective of whether it was a good or bad thing to omit Sibanda from the squad, the one thing everyone can agree on (and the NZ commentary mentioned this) is that the team is weaker without Sibanda in it. Now I don't believe he would have made a difference - if Taylor, Masakadza and Taibu can't perform on this wicket then Sibanda wouldn't either. However, ZC should take a stand after this match. Publicly say that this performance wasn't good enough. And then announce that Sibanda will be flown over for the limited overs matches.
