It would help if these guys can make it through to stumps.

Well played Regis. I certainly haven't been backing him. But an impressive knock in the midst of destruction.

No eugene, but I'll point you to something I was strongly 'insulted' for(lack of a better word) here! We should have lost that Bangladesh Tes. At least the world wouldn't have had unfair expectations of us, and definitely, the right players would've been used.

Some like BRM have casually said this is just one of those Tests which we should just simply put behind us. Having acknowledged the ineptitude of Vitori, some continue to call for persistence with Jarvis! Refershingly, that this team is far weaker without Vusi, is a consensus I'm happy to see prevalent!

The fact is guys, I warned you that Zim would never need to bowl for two innings against proper sides. So our bowlers should always be judged on their first innings performance. For that Jarvis deserves to be dropped as well. You may be ok with just 4 wickets in four first innnings, I'm not, and I doubt any right minded selector, on any other part of the planet would or should!

The bastmen, and the order is, and has always been wrong! Swallow your pride and admit that there are better more experienced and more capable players out of this team. It's good to see Regis showing good knock in consecutive Tests, but for all Taibu's failures, he is still a better batsman than Regis, just played far too high in the order.

1.Tino, 2.Duffin, 3.Vusi, 4.Taylor, 5.Hami, 6.Ewing(c), 7.Taibu(wk), 8.Elton, 9.Price, 10.Rainsford, 11.Mpofu. Panyangara(seamer), Matsi(bat), Cremer(spinner), Regis(wk) complete the touring 15.

Despite the fact that his FC records are embarrasing, of the 'youngsters', only Tino has earned the right to be persisted with! I am of the belief that he will gradually fall out of contention, and Matsi will slot into that top seven in his place! jUst like Waller & Mutizwa, they don't yet belong here!

Apart from Price who is injured(in which case Utseya was logical), and Mpofu(Jarvis), it's clear that we could still have fielded a far stronger team than the joke on display! Duffin's 30 off 96 balls becomes valuable, Rainsford's containing spells become more vital, Ewing's steely presence in that middle order along with his quality leadership & habit of winning with the Tuskers - all make us a better team!

Admit it guys - Jarvis, Vitori, Tino, Waller, Cremer & Regis are not yet ready! Let's not make the same mistake by turning to more youngsters - Querl, Chatara, Benade, Kasuza etc, but return to the seasoned guys! Otherwise, expect more of the same, and dare I say even from Bangladesh if we tour them with the same personnel!

I appreciate you want Ewing in Hhm, but how on earth is he consistently named as captain in your picks? He is going to return as captain? Or is that what you want to see after a while?

George Bailey! :D

I'm sorry but Taylor is noo captain. Can't think like one should, and can't marshall his charges as one should!

Anyway, it seems we've regressed. 6-7 years ago we lost to the same opposition by an innings&294, today it's an innings&301!

First innings bets: Waller for top score was a good; Jarvis for most wickets, with his record - a clear sign that most are guided by sentiment where he's concerned! :?

Formalities completed in few minutes of extra hour. Zim succumb to the biggest defeat ever in tests. Time to invite India and register few wins.
