Heh. Sometimes that's the best thing to do when Zimbabwe are playing. :D

Ship has been steadied somewhat, though - Taylor and Masakadza just need to keep an eye on the run-rate. We should be able to win this if no-one does anything stupid.

For those keeping an eye on the ODI rankings: a 5-0 sweep for Zim will add 5 points to our rating, a 4-1 series win would only add 1 point. Any other result leaves us back below Ireland.

Masakadza out ....damn we are now in big trouble 62-3
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today

At least this will give us a chance to see what our middle is like when it is under some pressure.

My lips are sealed from here on in.

I'd say this was going to be a real nail-biter - except I cut them this morning and have nothing left to bite on...

Very much a forgettable day at the office for Utseya as captain. Matsi is at it again, creating pressure by eating up deliveries. The stage was ideally set for Williams to come in at 62/3 and consolidate. But... :(

The out of control bushes at the bottom of my garden are certainly growing quicker than the score .......

One bit of luck though, i found a pigeon with 6 bullet wounds hiding in the vegetable patch, the poor little devil was a carrying message with him, it did have a lot of blood and bullet holes making it difficult to read, but i could just make out the following,

"Masvingo 14th oct - Rhinos 426-1 at close - Sibanda 310* - Chapungu 100 - Nicolson (nightwatchman) 3*"
