We always do this to ourselves. Slow starts in the first few overs, hence putting pressure on ourselves in the middle to late overs. This results in batsmen playing silly and risky shots, all losing their balance technique and shots. Then we inevitably lose games.

That's why we need Sibanda out of the squad and Raza at the top (& not late middle order).

And Tino Mawoyo seconds me on this. Never saw a reasonable T20 getting over in 12th over

Another day, another disappointment...some observations:

1) Way too many extras...those 20 or so runs might have made the difference between an OK amount of pressure and too much pressure in the chase.

2) Run chase...the less we say about that the better.

3) Our batting order. Hami is not an opener. Raza batted too low.

4) I like the way Mpofu bowled...you can see the preparation and mental approach to his every move. He could teach the other bowlers a thing or two.

5) Having maligned Cremer last match, I'm happy to see how he bowled this time around.

6) Coventry. Seriously, what does he bring to the side? His keeping can be woeful. His batting is unimpressive for a self-styled 20-20 specialist. If we're to look to the future, I'd rather bring in a youngster with a daredevil attitude...it can't bring worse results than the maximum 10 or so runs a match that we can expect of Coventry. Full respect for what he has done for us in the past, but we need to move on.

7) Muzarabani? Nice chap, I'm sure, but why was he picked over Vitori, or other incumbents?

8) Ervine. Continues to underwhelm me. Not certain what his role is.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Negative, Muzarabani is not a nice chap. Thinks he is the bees knees and im glad he got a right hiding today !

Ervine cant play T20.
Just a rubbish team at the moment.
