Re: Rumour of another defection

Personally this is what I think about our current players:

Ervine: He would be the first guy who would walk away if given a kolpak deal. He has left Zim once to make his career in Ireland, and failed to impress them. His brother is there, and he must be eyeing to follow him.

Williams: He is committed to Zim since he has his wife/family and loves Africa.

Cremer: is just back to international games, and may quit once he reaches peak of his form.

Raza: self-sufficient and educated guy who plays just for passion. He wouldn’t make it any other sides except HK.

Burl: He wants to be an international player, and I feel he is the guy who would stay for a long term in Zim.

PJ: Maybe he isn’t good enough to be in the county circuit yet. He will improve and move out in couple of years.

Waller: He knows he wouldn’t qualify for Canada or Namibia, so better stick with Zim

N Waller: Like Malcom he isn’t good enough and won’t get any kolpak deal. We should be seeing him in Zim shirt soon.

I reckon cremer is more likely to score a t20 league contract somewhere in the world

Leg spinners in t20 are lethal and strangely very economical

Could seriously see cremer in the BBL for the Sixers (only team that lack a leggie)

He has to be close to as good as zampa,Boyce , rashes, badree and Hogg

Definitely better to invest in a classical leggie than a mystery spinner with a dodgy action

Cremer would add more than Johan Botha, can't bat or bowl the sixes always fuck up their overseas players ......

Jevan Mendis, Chris Tremlett, Rikki Wessels and Jorhan Botha all pathetic only Lumb performs and rarely at that ......

Not sure if I said it earlier, but my theory is Craig has been dumped from the squad for signing with a county, if this defection rumour is true

would only make logical sense if Craig was unavailable for the world cup approaching.

otherwise let him stay on till he went, dont do sour grapes.

ZC are in no condition to play hardball.
