Didn't know where to post this but I hear that the Zim U19 team will be playing 50-over matches every weekend throughout the season against the 'resting' franchise in each Logan round. So for example Mountaineers in this round.

A bit late, but congrats to Wes on his first FC hundred. First of many, I'm sure.
Any idea why Shumba hasn't played yet?

Wolhurter with a century topping off what looked like a decent performance from the team overall. I refuse to believe that this many white boys will be going to the world cup though, we'll take 5 tops

Wolhuter & Bawa are still in school, and I think they were both at Eastbourne in the UK? so I'm curious as to why they are back in Zim. Maybe they are just back for a couple of weeks? Seems weird that they have left their school in their important exam year - unless their scholarships have been withdrawn or ZC have thrown money at them or something? It's strange. But nice to see them back and a great tonne from Wolhuter today too (let's not mention Bawa's golden duck!)
We probably need a U19 thread if these matches are going to happen every week!

Masuku with another 3 wickets. Bit expensive at the start with cephas the Greek on song.
9 wickets for the match. Could he be a long shot to play against Afghanistan?

Nicely poised now on the last day.
Tuskers will be trying see out the draw with 10 wickets spare at the minute going well.
Eagles off to a great start in their chase, Maunze looking good for another century. Maybe one to consider for the next test series if he continues his good form. They only need 190 now with 10 wickets in hand.
Great to see the matches lasting 4 days and being good contests.
Love first class cricket.

He was in the squad but I don't think he got a game in the main world cup. Hard to break into that extremely talented top 5 we had; Wessly, Shumba, Myers, Marumani & Bawa.
I remember him hitting a century in a high-quality Vigne Cup match last season and I think he did well in the NPL too. But I don't really remember him being on anyones radar as a junior/school player so not sure.
