Chibhabha making a comeback will be disastrous 😵 I hope they focus on younger players.

Meanwhile the ladies are playing domestic 2-day red ball cricket at the moment, according to ZC I quote ‘in preparation for future women’s test cricket’ :? how ridiculously unlikely lol

He now has 14 official half centuries and two centuries before the age of 21, across formats

Plus about a dozen more in NPL/club cricket.

Yes Marumani has done well this season. I'm actually curious to see how he does in the logan cup as well.

Mumba is another guy who I back to be given another chance. He fits perfectly into our aggressive approach. Can clear the ropes quite comfortably

Needless to say I’m a big Carl Mumba fan, and I’ve always said that he could be a great asset for ZC in both batting & bowling.

But his bowling has fallen off a cliff it seems, not sure if it’s still his knee injury that’s hampering him? If it’s just form or fitness I would have Mr Steve Kirby onto it in heartbeat, let’s see if we can get him bowling well again.

Maybe SZ or Taps can answer this-
This regional thing we are now playing and is a recent thing I heard was actually an ICC requirement and not just a ZC idea to pit strength against strength and become essentially a trials game, any truth in that?
Some of the guys playing indicate to me that it's just a box ticking exercise. If it's a mini trials game then omit guys that definitely wont play national.
I mean what's the point of essentially half our players playing another 3 games? Give all the franchises another round and include the national players that now need to gear up for the 50 over format.

I see they ignore the match reports complaining bitterly about Mr Chabi's sad umpiring and continue giving him games. I'm not sure what's worse, just being straight out incompetent or biased.

I once saw an umpire (don't recall his name) walk out into the middle prior to a game and actually practice giving out, much like a gunfighter would practice his draw.
I'm not joking!! He did it about 5 times in a row. Stood stock still and then would slowly and deliberately raise his finger, maybe he'd been having problems with the wrong finger being raised?

Now that the excitement of qualifiers and world cups are over we're back to cancelled tours, long periods between internationals, the domestic schedule being changed on somebody's whim with no notice and just general low level fuckery.
If Afghanistan don't arrive will they now play some games at HSC and OH or do they continue the ruse of the traveling circus having to risk their lives traveling to Kwekwe, Masvingo, Mutare and the Republic of Bulawayo?

Is it essential to rest all 14 pitches at HSC?
