Ireland are not as bad as some here think. They've beaten England and SA in odis in the last 12 months. Much like Zimbabwe, they win the odd odi or t20 but are very inconsistent. Stirling at the top is world class and one of their young pace bowlers, Josh Little, has really kicked on recently. The lad's got wheels! Young is another who has upped his game. McCarthy is a bit hot and cold. Their spinners will keep it tight, and I think Campher is a real find. Great temperament. They will scrap for everything. In T20s Ireland are weaker so if Zim can build up some momentum in those games, and bring into the odis, that could serve them well. Zim got spanked when they toured Ireland 2 years ago, so revenge could be on the menu this time.

I was checking the Australian squad for t20 and see they have picked all the key players back. Most importantly, Warner, Smith, Maxwell and Finch. They are all in their 30s but the board has included them as they are aware about what value they bring to the team.
Stupid Hami has no brain.I dont get the point of dropping our key 4 for the sake of giving chances to younger guys. Only Wesley has proven himself at the higher level. We gave away last few series with shitty selections.

Steve Saul looks like he has some shots. Played the pull flick and cut shot today. Nice to see a young opening combo. Need to pick up singles though
