Re: 2nd ODI ZIMBABWE VS SRILANKA
Jeez, that was a rollercoaster - as usual!!!! Great to get a win. Lots of people contributing today. Ngarava & Blessing still bowled some short crap, but generally they were really good - especially at the end.
Chatara picked up three wickets. Not convinced by him still, but much better today than the other day.
Wellington bowled those two really cheap overs late on, potentially changed the game. Great stuff. Shame he doesn't get more wickets but my goodness is he consistent and difficult to score off.
Slug great with the bat, handy contributions from Reggie, Williams and Raza too. All the seniors stepping up.
I would still like to see both Jongwe & Shumba get a game, but I suspect they won't want to change a winning formula.
Series win possible....

Zim cricket has a way of just livening your mood when they win. My cricketer of the last 12 months has to be Reggy. A real leader now, world-class keeper, and now leading the batting up top. What a team player also, encouraging the bowlers and fielders all 50 overs, field placements etc. Definition of a player who has stepped up and refused to end up like Mutumabani and Chibhabha. Legend!

Who would Jongwe and Shumba replace?

Agreed 100%. Deserves a lot of credit for how he's stepped up. Real leader now.CholeZimbo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 5:22 pmZim cricket has a way of just livening your mood when they win. I would still suggest Shumba for Madhevere for the final game. Please guys get Shumba in there.
