Ya that's true, barely won against Bangladesh as well. Too much of hype for nothing.
Barely, but also had to have the umpires favor to beat Bangladesh. There was Kohli's fake fielding, but also a an obvious wide not called in the final over of Arshdeep to Nurul. There was also Kohli's interference in a couple of no-ball calls which probably were no balls, but its a bad look for the integrity of the game.
Yes, some things haven't looked good recently, but I would say it was more because of umpires making mistakes under pressure rather than favouring India. Virat, as good a cricketer and a person off the field that he is, his onfield antics don't impress me at all. I agree on that, just doesn't look good for the game.

Team India criticized heavily after yet another failed WC campaign. Experts, analysts and fans talking just about everything in the media and on social media.

Meanwhile Michael Vaughan thinks India is the most overrated white ball team in history.

I've been very sad about this for a few days now tbh  He's been a great servant over many years, and has always given 100%. I wish him all the best anyway.
Yeah sad no doubt, but Chakabva has been there for a long time, and done a job. That being said, I don't think he's irreplaceble. He was a liability in T20s, probably less so in ODIs (did play some handy knocks of late), and was a solid component of the Test side. Still, I think he can be replaced, although it may not always go smoothly.
ZC saw it coming...that's why they selected Madande for the World Cup...
Marumani would have been preferred choice as a backup too...

Zimbabwean (at heart) dominating this world cup final so far. Curran is just so good. Reckon he might be the most expensive player in the next IPL auction.

Anyway come on Pakistan!

Good on him. Yeah KC would have been impossible to deal with for about 2 years
Amazing achievement.

There is a huge opportunity at the moment for one of these backup part time keepers to develop their glove work. Regis is virtually immune because no other bats are in our top 7 on skill.

Marumani, Moor, Kasuza should all be paying close attention.
Although Moor is old and a terrible keeper. Still could get his way in.

Moor isn’t even the first choice keeper for Mountaineers anymore!

They seem to be insisting on burdening Marumani with the gloves for some crazy reason.

That’s because he’s a shit keeper and only did the gloves out of necessity.
He would need to improve out of sight. He can’t do quick stumping or catch edges off spinners

Unfortunate but hope Marumani is up for it.
