Yes, and that puts Eugene back in shared second place . Mark Stannard (brother of David?, son of Dan, one of the early unanswered quiz questions? -- questions remain), now working in the agricultural sector in the UAE. I came across Mark Stannard when looking at Stragglers' scorecards recently.

514. Another one of those umpteen losses to cricket in Zimbabwe. In his case, loss to multiple sports. He still seems to be in the country, and did play cricket during the time the franchise structure was in place too. Who is he?

Yes it is him, who even turned out for the Rhinos as recently as 2012-13 season, and wasn't too bad with his performances. Clearly, the uncertainties involved with cricket in Zimbabwe could have discouraged him from taking it up as a serious career option...
