Gargamel is correct, the gentleman in question is Patrick Gada who has been mentioned a bit lately on this forum.

See! I could hardly make the connection between his twitter profile pic and this one. The cap being the culprit I think...

519. This former FC player has more than one thing in common with the more illustrious Zimbabwean test cricketer who debuted when his nation began its journey with test cricket. Who is this and what are the commonalities?

It's scary when you realise how many 1 or 2 match FC wonders there are. How about Kevin James Murphy (same initials as KJ Arnott)???

Don't tell me it's the other KJ -- Kevin John Brunt?

Fun fact about KJ Murphy: He scored a duck in his only FC match but took three catches, including KJ Arnott :)

He also scored a duck in the Stragglers' thrashing of Ireland at the hands of Hick & Houghton (question 508), and skippered Young Zim vs Young England (including Atherton & Thorpe) where he brought himself on to bowl (presumably to hasten a declaration) and cleaned up Derek Pringle for another duck.

Yes it is! Kevin John Brunt who played the solitary FC match against the visiting Pakistan B team for Zimbabwe B. He shares his first name and middle name with the man who faced the first ball in test cricket for Zimbabwe. Another similarity, both of them played their first FC match in Zimbabwe together in that match vs Pakistan B. While Arnott had already played 3 FC matches before that, two of them were in SA and the other in "Rhodesia", one month before independence: http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Score ... 48388.html
