Mutumbami is not a fan favourite but for me he is more aggressive and has more shots than Chakabva. He is like Maruma where it just never happened on the international stage but I can guarantee you if either Mutumbami or Maruma picked up form like the way Regis has you would be asking them to play every game. They are hard to stop when they get going.

Maruma is also popular amongst the players which is why you probably see him getting selected whenever he picks up some domestic form

Please don’t tell me Nyauchi is playing today. I’m hoping cricinfo is wrong.

Why is he not in Ireland?

What a knock by Mumba. Watched most of it. He was dropped twice but he has some real power. If he had batted until the end they would have hit 330 easily. They have something to defend at least today but that pitch is a seriously flat.

If Hami and Rajput are serious about promoting youth then Tiripano needs to be dropped for Mumba. Mumba has potential. It should be Mumba versus Jongwe for that number 9 spot

Agree to an extent because Tiripano's continued presence in the team always annoys me. But I think that Mumba innings was a bit of a fluke....

80+ career matches across formats and thats the first time he's ever gone beyond 60. Think it might have been a freak once-in-a-career sort of innings today for someone who otherwise its a tailender. Still think Jongwe is the best bowler of the three at this stage and probably the best bat too. Mumba has potential though, and time on his side....

He's not in Ireland squad.

He wasn't named in this squad either actually but like Roy Kaia seems to have turned up mid-tour after the heavy defeats in the first couple of matches.

Was a great innings just watched it back on Facebook, trouble is Mumba is not a great bowler. Quicker than Tirapano but not very accurate and gets put away quite often.

Just noticed it was munyande not nyauchi the last bat, thank god for that. Was panicking thinking Nyauchi wasn’t in Ireland.

Wait what? How can Nyauchi be left out? He is the 2nd best behind Blessing

Muza, Ngarava, Chatara, Jongwe, Tiripano all seemingly ahead of him now.
