This has been on my mind actually. The signs are there. I think after a certain number of years you are just mentally exhausted.tej_27 wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 9:31 amJust like BT in his last couple of monthssecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 9:23 amWilliam is just in permanent slog mode these days. Out of curiosity, do guys like Williams and Ervine have any side businesses? Just wondering how easy it will be for them to walk away from a relatively well paying ZC contractsecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 9:23 amWilliam is just in permanent slog mode these days. Taylor and Ballance's retirements were pretty much forced and not out of choice so it may not be so easy to walk away from all that money especially in a country with a lack of opportunities
Re: Zimbabwe A vs Pakistan A
I suspect Craig will be absorbed into the system. They like him a lot. Don't know about Sean. You are right about ZC paying well compared to the rest of the countryXlife wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 10:22 amOut of curiosity, do guys like Williams and Ervine have any side businesses? There's no way Sean is being employed by ZC after retirement

He's playing a great innings here after that chaotic start
Re: Zimbabwe A vs Pakistan A
Looking at the context of the innings I think Wes and Marumani did their jobs by absorbing the initial pressure to protect Ervine and Williams. Those early morning conditions were tough.
Re: Zimbabwe A vs Pakistan A
The retirement talk should be around Ervine.
Williams looks like he's in the form of his life. Basically the last 3 years he's been incredible.

Lol Williams is very old school. He's absolutely fuming that he has to have a concussion test
