Re: 2nd Test | Zimbabwe V/s Pakistan | Harare
I'd we had a stronger batting lineup one batter could do this regularly eg Warner in aus, Segwag for india

Man, does he even want to be in the middle at all?Taylor has given up, he was only halfway into this run after tapping to the leg side when Shaheen got to the ball and threw it at the non-striker's end, he missed and Taylor trotted to safety arms raised acknowledging his howler

This is such a strange innings by Taylor, when he was captain first time around you could count on him to really knuckle down and grind out a good score. This is just throwing caution to the wind type of stuff.
In the scheme of things it doesn't really matter I guess, the result here is inevitable. But surely all of the batsmen would be best served treating this as a high quality, high pressure net session given the paucity of quality cricket they get.

Took a nap and expected us to be 7 down, look at that! Regis and BT going alright, although BT seems like he's going ultra aggressive in an attempt to get out of his rut. Regis is playing very well here...go on boys, good batting practice.
what a way to get to 50 and 1000 runs Regis!

Well done Regis, 18th Zimbabwean to 1000 test runs.

Yup, he has shown that he belongs here in this match and hope he kicks on with this form in the future engagements. As someone who does not really have too many chinks in his technique, he should be a lot more consistent like this.

Well deserved, Regis Chakabva has been an under-rated player for us for a long time.
By my estimation he's in Zim's top 15 Test batsmen. https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engin ... ;type=team
There's a few players with more runs than him - Ebrahim, Rennie, Wishart - who he is comfortably better than. Of those below him... maybe Mawoyo and Vermeulen would be in the conversation?
But as a wicket keeper, batting with a tail that would rarely wag besides the odd Cremer or Tiripano heroics, to average 25+ and have a century to his name is a good effort.
Re: 2nd Test | Zimbabwe V/s Pakistan | Harare
He might be level with Wishart? Better than Tino, Vermeulen better talent but all around not stable enough to stay in for the long haul.b
