Oh wow! such a nice family pic! I was so sure that I may not find his actual image that I straightaway went for the collage. Can easily mistake him for Dion Ebrahim / Paul Adams for a moment.foreignfield wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 1:15 pmHere's the real Marvin Vogel, involved with the Grow Hope Trust Foundation, a Christian NGO active in Manicaland.

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Strangely enough, even Masakadza's Cricinfo page does not indicate he played for Matabeleland. I hadn't noticed it too even after looking at that scorecard till you pointed it out! What an awesome quiz question it is!
Which FC team did Hamilton Masakadza not represent over his career?
1. Mashonaland
2. Manicaland
3. Matabeleland
4. Southerns
Most people would get this wrong I think.

It's a popular Looney Tunes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looney_Tunes) character named 'Marvin the Martian'. I had to google what Vogel meant.foreignfield wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 12:59 pmHm, I don't know the comic-strip character, but when you said the next question would be easy for me ... are we talking about the forgotten Marvin John Vogel (German for bird)?
... too slow![]()

Hamilton Masakadza didn’t play for Southerns. He played for Easterns in that period between the rebels & franchise cricket.

Yes indeed! Most people would get that question wrong I feel, and would say Matabeleland. But he did play for them too, definitely in the only FC match of Marvin Vogel.cricket_22001 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 3:12 pmHamilton Masakadza didn’t play for Southerns. Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Lets not try and make the questions too abstract. Keep them relatively simple enough. I haven't got a clue on who this bloke is but I have a number of images which I think people may know well enough.
