Not much urgency from Burl or Byrom. 35 runs from 24 Overs.

Very slow. It’s obviously not that easy out there. Anyway Byrom on 150, just a lucky day, Pariah
They’re miles ahead and I’m sure will declare shortly. Maybe they’ll give him half an hour to try and get 200?

25k a year. I’m sure he’s getting that in Pounds right now, and if he does well they will double that in 2 years time, plays 30-40 games a year against some serious opposition, top quality coaching, probably a housing and travel allowance, t&s, full kit sponsorship, what have I forgotten? The lad has a professional county contract at 20 years of age. It’s hard to beat.

ZRS on the verge of their first ever First Class win

Pace bowlers Ngarava & Muzarabani improving figures every week

Taffy now making runs

Byrom killed it

Mavuta doing well with bat & ball

Mashinge has done well

I thought this was the biggest mistake in ZC history ?

Yes Team Train Wreck!

Dominant performance. Comfortable win even without Byrom's inclusion, as (let's face it) he is a bit of ringer.

Going quite nicely, isn't it?

I think the key will be to ensure that this initiative is continued consistently. So that youngsters coming out of the U19s know that there is a pathway they can follow. Without ZRS, if they don't immediately make a franchise squad (and some of those squads have a lot of experienced players inked in), then what do they do?
