This drives me mad ffs.

I mean he’s actually clearly a decent player and has performed well so that softens the blow a bit. Fair play to him.

But this is a really shit look for our system. We’ve had it with that random SA kid playing for Tuskers last month.
And then Motlhanka from Botswana playing for Tuskers last year too.

It’s totally unacceptable that this happens so brazenly in a first class system. Considering the franchise finances are controlled centrally by ZC it suggests that ZC are totally fine with it too.

For reference, Regis is also in NSW and is playing a level below in a sub-district competition. Aeraging 55 with the bat after 7 matches
Where’s Regis playing?

It seems he has a brother that is now going to play for Tuskers as well. A few bucks and the rules can be bent.
Seems that Kaitano made way for this guy and there is some ill-feeling at the game. Seems like it's a similar situation to those young Pakistani guys miraculously playing for the U19's so they could get a gig in Pakistan.
Looking like a few games and he will tick his boxes and both he and the dad sponsor will be on their way.
Not a good look.
Sorry if this is an obvious question, but what is the box they are ticking? Is it something to do with playing a certain amount of first class games so they can be classed as professional which will allow them to play in the UK?

Playing near Echuca/Moama.
There is a stronger league an hour away in Bendigo.

Interesting

I wonder if this move was in the planning before or after either of the tours to Aus this year?

Assuming he wouldn’t be getting paid much to play club cricket in a remote town in Victoria, he’s either going to need to get a job or keep playing for Zimbabwe.

What would his Zim contract be worth? Cost of living in Oz is through the roof now

He’s coaching for the club and for several schools apparently .

It was planned for a while, he had a farewell dinner at sports club just before the World Cup.
