He is seeing it like a football, great knock especially after that dropped catch from them. when was the last time that we had a 200 partnership?

Strike rotation is the most important part of batting in 50 over games, we need to get that maximised. I love these cheeky singles that Gumbie and Ervine try and steal.

So i just checked our record in ODI's and we have only had 3 partnerships over 200:

Highest partnerships by runs
Sikandar Raza, H Masakadza 224 1st
v Afghanistan
Bulawayo
20 Jul 2014
ODI # 3504
SM Ervine, SV Carlisle 202 4th
v India
Adelaide
24 Jan 2004
ODI # 2087
Sikandar Raza, RW Chakabva 201 5th
v Bangladesh
Harare
7 Aug 2022
ODI # 4442
Sikandar Raza, I Kaia 192 4th
v Bangladesh
Harare
5 Aug 2022
ODI # 4441
So officially this is the highest partnership for Zim in "ODI's" great stuff by these 2

Gumbie has been a Joy to watch this innings.....

Fair play to him he has had a great year and has deserved these chances against higher quality bowlers.

Cant be far from a first team call up now.
