Hope Craig makes it stick. We need to push to a lead edging closer to 400.

Indeed. A lead of 400 will mean Bangladesh can't win. Craig really does need a score here. Even though judging someone on one test is rough, when you are only playing a couple of tests here and there it may be the reality.

I think 3 or 4 singles from him should be enough. If he accumulates 30 or 40 I'd be satisfied.

Craig Living a charmed life...this doesn't do his confidence any good, putting under such pressure when he is clearly off form. I'd prefer he goes back to FC finds form and gets a proper shot at this. He is class a precious left hander...that's not in question but unfortunately out of form. Let him workout he's issues away from this stage and have him back with confidence(because we do need him). Its not as if we don't have players Mutizwa could feel that gap for now, even Chakabva could do that for now (note I am not saying these two are better than Craig, but are in better form). Its the same argument for Meth and Jarvis, Meth is currently better in all respects except speed (and speed with no results surely can't be the only criteria), in the long run Kyle will be a terrific bowler for us, but there is no need to hurry his growth (possible to his detriment) when we have an equally (if not more) effective but different bowler in Meth.

Having said that all the best Craig and Kyle hope you prove me wrong.

Without really showing it, the run rate has gone up quite a bit...
Last 10 ovs 42/1 RR 4.20
322 run lead, another hour before tea. It'll be interesting to see what approach the batsmen take from here - 34 run partnership between Taylor and Ervine which is good.

Taylor lets the bat do the talking :4:

250 up! :D
And with that boundary brings Taylor's highest Test score, currently 79*.

Ervine's class is evident in this innings. Some of his shots are just glorious. His lack of confidence at the moment is also evident with some of his nervy edges. Let's hope this innings can get him back on track as he is vital to a solid middle order in both our ODI and Test sides.
