hmm, 161/5 to 177 all out. Collapse did happen. 181 to defend. Can't see much hopes here unless our new ball bowlers rip them apart.

Wait a second, Dylan Hondo is a left arm spinner? I thought he was a pacer! Its a bigger scam. How can he jump a tree full of domestic spinners like Munyede, Mufudza, Bhasikoro or even Njanji?

Njanji is a leg spinner who is a true batsman. Had a great chat with Shingi this afternoon and we agreed that if a coach likes you he likes you u will be selected and play so guys need to just work hard.Munyede must be one of the most aggrieved and frustrated lads given his work ethic and ability he surely deserved a chance.

Hi Gents.. I watched a bit of the game.. They wicket is green and very bouncey that even the medium pacers (jongwe+Nyauchi) are getting them through at waist height and above.. Musakanda and Kunje should have got100s in the 1st innings but gave their wickets away. Mumba has good pace (133-138) and on this wicket he's looking like Allan Donald at the WACA. He is only 21 but he has a bright future ahead. He will grow and gain pace. He's also the most humble person you'll ever meet. Chirimuuta should not have played as he is not a longer format player.. Dylan Hondo was the best out him, Welly and Kunje.. He's clearly a superior bowler to Wellington but Wellington is 10X the fielder Hondo will ever be..

That is hard, but acceptable under normal circumstances, like Ntini and co. preferring Chinouya, Tiripano, Ncube and Muzarabani over Shingi himself. Gut feeling, form on the day, etc. But Dougie Hondo selecting Dylan Hondo is a scam! Similar to age old stories of Ali Campbell wanting his brother in the team as wicket keeper when Andy got injured.

That is hardly any justification. We have already mismanaged Wellington over the last year or so, so we can't complain if he is trying to find his feet again now. What would a Munyede or a Mufudza feel looking at the younger Hondo leapfrogging them for no reason?

Is this an official first class match?

Good to see Mumba doing well. That Asalanka kid has a bright future and proves this SL side is of a good quality.
