If the end of the Rajput era is a 100-run defeat it will be quite fititng.

Quite possible I reckon too.

I thought 158 to chase would've stretched us but wasn't beyond us. But 20 extra from some ridiculous noballs means we are dead apart from Someone scoring our first ever T20 ton.

This is what an explosive start dies and why we have seen Zim try everybody from Zhuwao to Mire to Marumani. Even a 20 from 8 balls immediately gives momentum. I get why they keep trying Marumani but he isn't ready. They have to understand that.

Burl is the only power hitter we have today. I wonder who is going to open. They have to try something out the box. We are a batsman light today. I would even try something outlandish like Jongwe with a license to hit uptop. Our usual batting lineup will only lead to defeat

Can we be sure that this isn't the last time we will see Sean Williams in a Zimbabwe shirt?

Yes I was thinking his future actually depends on this game. A win here and he can actually argue that the tour wasn't bad. A defeat on the other hand will be the end I'm sure

We need a sensible start that gives wickets at the death. 90-1 after 10 is the only way out of this mess. But we will definitely be 20-3 very early. Watch us try and hit 6s off good deliveries

Ended up watching just the last over. What an absolute disaster that was! It looked manageable till then. Hindsight, underbowling Wellington and Williams wasn't a great idea. They don't go for those 15+ overs ever. We had 2 of those + a close one with Madhevere, another unnecessary one.
