Actually, as mentioned above, a Zimbabwean franchise in the SA20 would be awesome. I'm guessing it will never happen but one can dream.

Zim Rugby have a good set up it seems. They have a team in the Currie Cup in South Africa. They didn't do too well finishing last and only winning 1 game, but it's a good step in developing their talent.

It's often been said that the African nations should work together, but as is with all things in Africa, they never want to do that. They are too self-centred to focus on actual development in the continent.

I guess if an Indian owner could be lined up for the Harare Hyenas we could live off scraps from the SA20.

Inspired by ZANU who have picked the meat off Zimbabwe's infrastructure for their own gain.

So this starts in a couple of days. What are your thoughts folks? I think a T20 tournament would have been much much better even if they could attract only a few top players. It was still fine.

A T10 tournament for me is literally waste of time and money. Not sure how much anyone can learn in such a short format.

T10 cricket is completely pointless, beyond maybe some weekend festival of cricket like the Hong Kong Sixes used to be.
