Takashinga 1 only needed 8 players after all to win 😅😅

Madhevere currently playing a club cricket match in Bulawayo today. Odd. If he was allowed to play club cricket you’d think he’d be playing for Gladiators in Harare? Very random.

Maybe he’s into his pole dancing.

SOGO Rangers 1, 332-3 (J Basson 121*, C MacMillan 120*; N Mare 1/36, F Makoni 1/39) beat Glenshire, 139ao (E Madamombe 50, T Mahachi 17; M Campbell 3/29, A Ngoshi 2/26) by 193 runs at Old Georgians Sports Club.

Old Hararians 1, 253ao (S Handirisi 78, C Zhuwao 75; R Mupfudza 2/15, T Kagumba 2/39) lost to Takashinga 2, 256-5 (W Masakadza 61, R Mupfudza 58*; S Mirza 2/48, C Zhuwao 1/32) by 5 wickets at Old Hararians Sports Club.

Uprising, 260-7 (T Kaitano 88, W Mashinge 60; J Masara 2/38, V Chirwa 2/50) beat Rainbow 1, 199ao (R Chininya 49, V Chirwa 44; C Mukoko 3/43, K Mabena 2/43) by 61 runs at Alex Sports Club.

And finally Takashinga 1 won by walkover against Gladiators at Sunrise Sports Club because ‘the pitch was unplayable’.

How have Gladiators been punished for that?!?! So they were the ‘home’ team, yes, but it’s obviously a neutral venue and nobody from Gladiators is responsible for the pitch at a ZC-provided ground, surely?!?
Extremely harsh and quite frankly ridiculous to give the points to Taka.

Does Chirwa usually open both the batting and the bowling?

He never opened the batting for Kadoma, used to bat 5,6 or 7

This weekend a game at Prince Edward was called off because the pitch was unplayable/dangerous but this time it was awarded as a draw rather than an ‘away’ win. What a surprise, it didn’t involve Takashinga this time. So dodgy and so unfair.

Meanwhile both Takashinga sides won games ‘by walkover’ this weekend because the opposition ‘failed to field a team’. Isn’t it funny that this only ever happens against Takashinga and not against anyone else?

I smell bullshit

Well they cheated to win the NPL T20. There's not much they won't do. If their 2 teams finished bottom of the log they'd either dig up pitches or ban other clubs.

Very very rare club-level double century today - Senyo Nyakutse who played for Matebeleland back in the 1990's and must now be pushing 50 scored 212* for BAC
